SUCCESS!!!! PART 1

It looks like all the dubious and false credentials on "Prof. Dr." Jessie Chung's two websites are now clearly removed.

http://www.jessiechung.com/profile.htm

http://naturalhealthfarm.com/ (Someone please verify in Chinese).

She has stopped calling herself "Prof." after this blog appeared and is no longer calling herself "Dr." but only just as Jessie Chung, her CV with all the fake credentials removed, and the entire testimonies page on cures is gone. I hope the local newsmedia has something to do with this.

Next step, Jessie, is to issue a public apology.

Welcome to my blog, and thank you for posting.

I mostly conducted my search on the trusty good old internet, and on a few occassions used a nexus search service at my university's library (which is a pay-per-use service for locating academic resources).

Any common citizen - if interested enough - could have done the same thing I did. There really is no special skills required.

Most of the local media's coverage is on their recent wedding, debating the legitimacy of sex change and same sex marriage before the law and religion. Nearly all of the reports still accredit Jessie Chung as a holder of a doctorate in nutritional therapy. It would be heartening to witness more in-depth research into her qualifications or even an in-depth report on her business practices.

Hello David ... I have provided some depth on her credentials that any investigative reporter worth his salt will be able to report on. For crying out loud, any education reporter or watcher would have spotted Lafayette University immediately.

According to Pierce, her credentials were raised as an issue in the media, but she sweet-talked her way out of it with some tear-jerk stories or something to that effect.

I blame this on the general Malaysian public for allowing this to happen as long as it did. I have effected some changes, in that she stopped publicly posting her dubious credentials (likely not privately in verbal consultations with her "patients"). But I am neither a citizen nor directly affected. The rest lies with people such as you. However, I appreciate why those in developing and third world nations would just turn a blind eye to such practices ... the general rule is "mind your own business". I know this first hand as I did lived in Malaysia for 6 months.

Her business practices would be the second and final part of my blog ... although I have less reason to blog on that now as she has removed all those outrageous claims on cures. However, any MLM/pyramid selling scheme is suspicious. In the US these kind of companies prey on those in the inner cities who are either unemployed and/or illiterate - both conditions are also prevalent in Asia I have noticed with great regrets.
